Biking Trails at Rockledge

Rockledge Apartments in Atlanta has an amenity that few communities in the area can claim…access to the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area. The actual area of the Chattahocchee River in which Rockledge backs up to is called Cochran Shoals.

Cochran Shoals is one of the most popular areas of the Chattahoochee attracting as many as a million visitors a year. Visitors and residents at Rockledge can enjoy the three mile fitness trails, biking trails, birdwatching areas, hiking, rafting and fishing. Some of the new biking trails at Cochran Shoals were recently developed by SORBA Atlanta. SORBA is the largest nonprofit mountain biking organization in the Southeast and has really helped make Cochran Shoals a terrific place to mountain bike.

Rockledge also has built its own biking/walking trails throughout the 80 acre, gated community.
