Finding a nice apartment community in Atlanta that allows big dogs can be a challenge these days. Many communities in Atlanta, Marietta, Vinings, and other areas around the city have strict weight limits that only allow dogs up to 30 pounds or less and some apartments don’t allow pets at all.

Chattahoochee Challenge 10K This Weekend

The 9th Annual Chattahoochee Challenge 10K Road Race is this Saturday, February 6th, at the Chattahoochee Nature Center. The Chattahoochee Challenge is known as one of the best Peachtree qualifiers of the season and all proceeds benefit the Chattahoochee Nature Center. Time is running out to pre-register so if you are interested in participating then be sure to download the registration form.
There is always pre and post race fun with a myriad of sponsors from the surrounding community offering samples and giveaways. No More Running in the Cold

Residents at Rockledge take full advantage of the running trails located behind the property along the Chattahoochee River for most of the year. Our temperate Southern climate makes running outside an enjoyable experience in Autumn, Spring and Summer months. Well, the Summer months can be a little too hot if you wait too late in the day to go for a jog. However, only a few residents brave the cold during the winter months because……well, it’s just too cold, and there is no time of the day when it isn’t too cold.

A new 17,500 square foot clubhouse will be opening at Rockledge Apartments this spring. The clubhouse will have a 80 seat movie theater, yoga studio, state-of-the-art fitness center, indoor running track, striprobics, huge party room w/billiards and indoor basketball court.
With spring just around the corner, Rockledge management is looking for fitness instructors to lead classes including yoga and strip aerobics. In addition, Rockledge is considering having a basketball league, billiards tournaments, open mic nights, film group and a running group.

A Snow-Covered Rockledge
Posted by:Just the chance of snow or ice in Atlanta seems to send people running to the grocery stores for milk and bread, which is amusing because Atlanta is not known for extreme snow storms that keep people snowed in for days on end. However, it was no different this week when forecasters predicted an inch or two of snow in and around the city on Thursday, January 7th. Although the 2010 Atlanta snow “storm” came a little later than the forecasters predicted, we did get just enough to create a beautiful, snow-dusted Atlanta apartment community before it melted away.
So, enjoy this video of the snow we got at Rockledge apartments in Marietta, GA. There is no way you can drive down Powers Ferry Road now without noticing the new clubhouse being built at Rockledge apartments in Atlanta, GA.
Deemed the “Ultimate Clubhouse”, this gigantic facility is scheduled to open this spring and will house an indoor running track, 80 seat movie theater, state-of-the-art fitness center, indoor basketball court, yoga studio, strip aerobics area, and party room with indoor fireplace, flat screen televisions, and billiards table.
Residents at Rockledge will also be able to take advantage of the many classes that will be offered including yoga, weight training and more.
