St. Patrick’s Day Events Near Rockledge

There are several St. Patrick’s Day events happening near Rockledge Apartments in Atlanta this year. Some of the best events are actually taking places before St. Patty’s Day including “Shamrock & Roll 2010″ at Meehan’s Public House in Sandy Springs on March 13th at 2PM.

Meehan’s is partnering with Dave FM and Guinness beer to offer a full day of festive fun. They’ll have live music all day long provided by several bands including Yacht Rock, Francisco Vidal, REMakes, and more. Tickets can purchased in advance or purchased for $10 at the door. Meehan’s will also be open at 9:30AM on St Patrick’s Day (March 17th) serving half-priced Irish breakfast until 11:30AM.

Fado Irish Pub in Buckhead is another popular location for St. Patrick’s Day. Fado has a week long schedule of events culminating on March 17th with a huge outdoor festival. The pub opens at 6AM on St. Patrick’s Day with the street festival beginning at noon. Bands will start at 1PM and include a Van Morrison cover band and U2 cover band.

Another option on March 17th is a St. Patty’s Day party at Wild Wing Cafe in Marietta. Wild Wing will have Live Irish Music, Guinness and Irish Car Bomb Specials, and will be serving Irish cuisine including corned beef & cabbage plates. CHEERS!!
