Tennis Lessons at Rockledge

USPTA certified coaches and current residents of Rockledge, LeTrone and Taneka Mason, will begin offering professional tennis instruction to Rockledge residents starting in January.

Group and private lessons will be offered, as well as social mixers throughout the week. Pricing for all group classes will be based on four week sessions and any classes canceled due to inclement weather will be made up the week following the conclusion of the session.

Coach Letrone Mason is a native of Chicago, Illinois and is currently the head women’s tennis coach at Clark Atlanta University. Coach Letrone joined Clark after a year at the helm of Chicago State University’s men’s and women’s tennis program, where the Cougars won the 2009 Women’s National Independent Tennis Championship. Prior to his stint at Chicago State, Letrone spent 5 years as the tennis professional at the Tennis Center of Coral Springs and as the women’s head tennis coach for Broward Community College in Davie, Florida.

Coach Taneka Mason is now Assistant Coach of the women’s tennis team of Clark Atlanta University. Coach Taneka has been teaching tennis for ten years and received her USPTA certification in 2006. She was also a USTA Tennis Referee in South Florida prior to arriving in Atlanta.
